OnePlus want to bring the premium OnePlus experience to people wanting to spend a little less on a smartphone and so, they have created the OnePlus Nord CE2.

The OnePlus Nord CE 2 is a budget-friendly camera phone from OnePlus which offers smarter cameras, fast charging and 5G support for under £300.
Similar to the original Nord CE, the new version has a slim design (7.8mm thick) and headphone jack as well as an AMOLED display that makes it a great everyday smartphone. Plus, there's flagship 65W SUPERVOOC fast charging, a more powerful chipset, and an upgraded camera system built-in.
On the front of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 is a 6.43-inch FHD+ Fluid AMOLED display with a 90 Hz refresh rate and it's also HDR10+ certified so colour accuracy is guaranteed.
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 boasts a rear 64 MP triple camera comprised of a 64 MP primary sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide camera and a 2 MP macro lens. The OnePlus Nord CE 2’s camera hardware also combines with powerful AI software like Nightscape and an improved Portrait Mode.
Nightscape is supported on the OnePlus Nord CE 2 and is perfect for capturing photos in low light. Nightscape takes up to nine different pictures at varying exposures and intelligently weaves them together to produce clearer and brighter photos.
Portrait Mode is improved on the OnePlus Nord CE 2 with more accurate edge detection and the ability to adjust the level of software-produced depth of field. Portrait Mode is supported on both the OnePlus Nord CE 2's 64 MP rear camera and its 16 MP selfie camera.
Video capture on the OnePlus Nord CE 2 is taken even further with improved AI background lighting and colour optimisation that improves video quality when filming in low light, particularly in unevenly lit environments. This feature leverages dedicated video capturing algorithms that ensure exposure is more consistent in footage. In addition, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 allows you to record with both its front and rear cameras simultaneously with Dual-View Video.
Other features of this budget-friendly smartphone include a 3.5m headphone jack, 2 SIM card slots and a microSD card slot that allows you to expand the device’s storage up to 1 TB.
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 comes in Gray Mirror and Bahama Blue colourways, the former has a mirror-like finish, and will be available from 10 March 2022 with 8GB RAM/128GB storage priced at £299.
