Apple iPhone photographers have been showing the world their night time photography skills in Apple's latest photography competition.
| Apple iPhone 11 Pro in CompetitionsApple asked iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max smartphone owners to take part in a 'Night mode photo challenge' and the tech giant has now announced the winners of the photography competition.
All iPhone 11 smartphones feature an improved Night mode which automatically activates in low-light. Depending on how dark the scene is, your iPhone might take a Night mode photo quickly, or it might take several seconds. A number appears next to the Night mode icon to indicate how long the shot will take.
A curated panel of judges selected six winning photos from thousands of submissions worldwide and the winning images will be featured in a gallery on the Apple website as well as on the Apple Instagram page. Plus, the winning entries will also appear on billboards worldwide.
The judges on the panel included: Malin Fezehai (US), Tyler Mitchell (US), Sarah Lee (UK), Alexvi Li (China), Darren Soh (Singapore), Phil Schiller, Kaiann Drance, Brooks Kraft, Jon McCormack and Arem Duplessis. Each shared their thoughts on what made these photos stand out from the pack.
