It's time to announce the 3 winners of a pair of Eschenbach binoculars in the April competition.
| CompetitionsIt's time to announce the 3 winners of Eschenbach binoculars in the April 'Wildlife' competition.
You showed us some fantastic examples of wildlife images, and from these we took a while to choose just 3 winners. However, in the end, the following images were chosen:
Eschenbach Arena 8x25 binoculars: dathersmith
dathersmith's kingfisher image really captivated us - the bird has been frozen in time as it rises from the water with its catch. These birds have such striking colours and it's a well-composed photo too.
Eschenbach Sektor 10x32 binoculars: Pherreaman
This lovely image of a family of elephants has been composed to show each elephant in its entirety as they stroll through the bush. The eye is led through the image nicely and it's a great example of wildlife imagery in its truest form - documenting awe-inspiring animals.
Eschenbach Club 8x20 binoculars: hu3436
We loved the blurred background and lighting of this little owl image. It's perched at a pleasing angle which also allows the light to highlight the mottled colours of its feathers. The bright green of the crops in the background also adds interest to the image.
To see the shortlisted images, take a look at the competition page. This month, there is a Manfrotto tripod kit up for grabs in the May 'Flowers' competition.
Good Luck!
