Artistic Windmill Photo Awarded POTW Accolade: Brograve Mill

A captivating image of a windmill surrounded by swaying grasses has been awarded the Photo of the Week accolade this week.

The image, entitled 'Brograve Mill, Horsey, Norfolk' was taken by ePz member steve_eb and here's why we thought it stood out from the bunch:

This image has a very artistic feel - it's almost like a painting. The sky is full of interesting clouds and the grasses at the front have caught a breeze, blurring them and drawing interest to the centre of the frame.

The windmill itself is a very interesting structure, with the remains of the sail supports crisscrossing the main beam. The composition is very pleasing to the eye, and the low angle of view adds a lot more texture to the grass, giving you a real feel of standing there yourself.

Photo of the Week winners currently receive a 64GB EVO MicroSDXC card courtesy of Samsung. To see all winners of the accolade, take a look at the POTW gallery
