Sony isn't the only company making phone announcements at CES as Asus has unveiled the Zenfone Max Plus.
The battery was the talk of the release as the Zenfone Max Plus features a 4,130mAh battery which Asus says gives up to 21 hours of wi-fi web browsing or up to 13 hours of video playback. Asus didn't mention how many images you'd be able to capture on a full charge but it won't be a stingy amount that's for sure.
As for the technology capturing the images, the Zenfone Max Plus features a dual-lens rear camera which features a 16-megapixel f/2.0 lens and an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens. There’s also a 16-megapixel front-facing camera and a 140°, Selfie Panorama mode is available. Plus, beautification mode instantly retouches your selfies, removing blemishes, balancing facial features and more. Alongside beauty mode, there are 7 other camera modes to help you capture images with ease.
Also on the front is a 5.7-inch Full HD (2160 x 1080) screen and Asus have reduced the size of the bezel to make the phone smaller without losing screen size.
You can unlock the smartphone with your face, plus a fingerprint scanner is built in for added security. The ZenFone Max Plus also comes with two SIM card slots supporting speeds up to 150Mbps and an additional MicroSD slot to expand storage by up to 256GB.
As of yet, there's no news on when the ZenFone Max Plus will be available in the UK.
