Autumnal River Image Awarded Photo Of The Week Accolade: Autumn Waters

A fiery autumn image or a river surrounded by trees has been awarded the Photo of the Week accolade this week.

The image, by ePz member LMK_Photography was chosen by the team to win the accolade and here's why we thought it deserved to win:

This is a wonderful capture, showcasing the beautiful shades of autumn leaves with the swirling river to lead your eye through the image. A slow shutter speed has been used to smooth the river out, in turn showing up the undercurrents with a dramatic swirl to the left.

The river is framed either side with trees, all of which are shedding their leaves and producing stunning orange, yellow and golden colours. It's a great capture that really encapsulates the feel of the season.
