Samsung Smart NX cameras make it really easy for you to back up your images, giving you peace of mind that there's a copy somewhere if they are accidentally deleted from the memory card, for example.
There are two main ways that you can back up your photos:
- Cloud is an online storage service that you can access any time, anywhere. It means that you'll never run out of room on your memory card or lose valuable pictures, even on the go. You can then view them any time on your smartphone or tablet, and download them to your PC later.
To set your camera up to back up to cloud, it's really easy. On the Galaxy NX
, go to menu, settings, then Accounts. Under backup options, you'll find the Cloud option. You can then follow the instructions to back up to a cloud service.
- With Smart NX cameras you can wirelessly transfer photos and movies to your PC or Mac. Just choose the AutoBackup function and you're all set. All your photos and movies will be wirelessly transferred and stored safely on your computer. You can then delete photos from your camera knowing there's a duplicate set on your computer.
On the Samsung NX300
, simply turn the mode dial to Wi-Fi, and then touch, or use the d-pad to select the Auto-Backup option.
