The image, titled 'Mist over Callander' by ePz member PaulHolloway caught the eye of the team this week, and here's why we thought it deserved to win: 

This image has captured some stunning colours as the sun rises, from the sherbety oranges and yellows in the sky to the pink and purple shades on the mist and in the valleys.

The cluster of trees in the bottom third of the image peeking over the morning mist add some textural interest to the image, and their silhouette gives a sense of place to the image. It's a very calm, serene capture perfectly encapsulating the breaking of a new day.
