An image of a beautiful sunrise over a snowy mountain has been awarded the POTW accolade.

This week's POTW accolade has been awarded to ePz member zimen for his image 'Winter'.
The Photo of the Week accolade is chosen by the staff here at ePz and here's why we thought it deserved to win the accolade:
This image contrasts the strong orange of the sky with the bright white landscape perfectly. The image has been composed well, so as to draw the eye in with the large snow covered tree which seems slightly abstract with the snow piled on it.
The eye then follows the tree line down the slope and takes in the sea of clouds, reflecting the fiery orange of the sky which fades into peach and soft blue shades. The image has a simple colour palette but it works really well to draw the eye to the wonderful textures on display.
