About the photographers
Photography is the second most popular pastime in the world and all our guest photographers believe in helping others to enjoy this wonderful, creative process. All events cater for both amateurs and professionals alike. Heres a little more about each of our experts:

Charlie Waite
As Lord of the Landscapes Charlie is one of the worlds most celebrated international photographers and his beautiful panoramas have been seen in many an exhibition. Charlie has written several books on landscape photography and has often been seen on British television discussing the finer arts of the subject. He is an experienced leader of seminars and workshops and is happy to pass on his superb knowledge, sharing his passion and humour for the photographic subjects. An experience not to be missed!
Event date: 18 June

Nick Jenkins
Nicks ambition in photography is to promote the beauty of Britain, so its not surprising that he approaches all his seminars with great enthusiasm and a desire to pass on some of the knowledge and experience he has gained from being recognised as an expert on wild and remote parts. He is never happier than scouring or touring areas like the Brecon Beacons and has written many books on walking. Nick has a great sense of humour and has many tales that show that being a photographer is sometimes a dangerous pastime...but hell always get THAT shot!
Event date: 26 June

Chris Gomersall
Having been the staff photographer at the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds for some 14 years, Chriss track record cannot be denied. Now freelance, Chris travels the world giving a range of seminars and talks (naturally he takes his camera with him), loves to photograph all types of wildlife in their natural habitat and is author of Photographing Wild Birds (published by David & Charles). He is passionate about nature conservation and has an educational background in both zoology and plant biology, so for anyone interested in wildlife photography, Chris is definitely the man to ask...
Event date: 17 July

Ben Osborne
Ben is well known for his antics in the Antarctica having been the stills photographer connected to the BBC wildlife series Life in the Freezer. He now regularly works with BBC film crews and takes on many freelance commissions around the world and at home. Ben has presented his audio-visual shows to many a happy audience. He loves developing new ideas and his presentations are not only humourous and entertaining, but also highly informative and inspiring, whatever the skill level of the audience.
Event date: 24 July
