BeFunky is an free online photo editor which also has a free app for iOS and Android (A pro version for the iPhone is available for £1.49). Here we testing the iPhone version.

BeFunky Photo Editor iOS App Performance

With the app you can either take a new photo or chose one from your library. When you have your photo there are a number of options along the top of the screen; home, edit, effect, frames and save. Home takes you back to the start and edit offers the ability to change brightness, contrast, hue, saturation, sharpen, rotate and crop. The next option along the top is effects. There are over 50 with examples of each below (these were created using a previous version of the app).
