We have a look behind the scenes to see how Martin Stranka's latest shoot was brought to life.

Martin Stranka is a creative photographer whose work has been acclaimed worldwide. ePHOTOzine first stumbled upon his work back in 2013, when we interviewed him about his inspirations and creative processes.
Last year in 2017 we covered his project photographing magical captures of rescued wild animals with his distinctive style.
Now, he has turned his hand to working with cars, flowers and people for his latest capture. Called 'I bloom for you' (pictured above), it's an emotive image, about escapism, escaping beyond the limits of everyday existence, as Martin explains in his blog. The flowing river of flowers represents the symbolism of freedom, our own freedom. "Our own liberation, that should never be taken from us", says Martin.
The setup for the photo occurred in June 2018, after 3 months of planning. Martin involved actor and friend Ivan Luptak to be the model in the image, sitting inside a Buick Electra 225 (1963 model). The flower arrangement was created by skilled Czech florists, who used oasis blocks mounted on a wooden frame to create the effect of a pile of flowers flowing out of the car.
In total, the project took 350 hours to bring to life. Take a look at the above video to see the process.
