BenQ has introduced a 4K UHD 27" monitor to its line-up which features industry-standard HDR10 support and advanced colour performance.
The SW271 is designed with photographers in mind and it covers 99% of Adobe RGB, 100% of both sRGB and Rec. 709, and offers Delta E < 2 performance with its 10-bit IPS panel and 14-bit 3D lookup table (LUT). Technicolor Colour Certified has also been installed to meet strict colour accuracy standards.
Equipped with USB Type-C TM connectivity, the SW271 requires a single cable for calibration and video transmission and a shading hood can be attached to shield the screen from ambient glare.
GamutDuo Mode enables simultaneous picture-by-picture operation in two different colour spaces and Adobe RGB, as well as sRGB and Black and White modes, can be switched instantly via SW271's exclusive "Hotkey Puck".
Other features of the SW271 include an SD card reader, USB 3.1 (Gen 1), USB Type-C TM, HDMI 2.0, and DisplayPort 1.4 ports. The monitor is also height adjustable and can be used in landscape or portrait orientations.
The SW271 monitor retails at £1,067 incl. VAT and is available to purchase through leading photo and video retailers.
Earlier this year, we took a look at the BenQ SW320 which is available for £1245 including VAT and comes with a 3-year warranty.
