We round up the best iPhone 8 and iPhone X accessories for photographers.
| iPhone 8 in Camera PhonesThe Apple iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X were released last month and as you may have seen, DxO named the iPhone 8 as having the best smartphone camera they have tested to date.
Because of this, the latest iPhones will no doubt be in demand for photographers. Here, we've put together a list of accessories for iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X, to enhance your photography experience with them:
Lens Adapters
We all know that the iPhone camera is excellent but there are times when you want to be able to fit more into the scene, or take a macro photo that you just can't get right in the frame. This is where additional lens adapters come in to play. These lenses simply clip over the existing camera, and give you the opportunity to photograph wide-angle scenes and macro images in-camera without having to use software.
Small tripod
If you're serious about capturing amazing shots with your phone, then a small portable tripod can be a real help in order to help you frame and level your shots. Some are even flexible, allowing you to safely attach your phone to objects at a quirky angle.
Panorama head
If you want to create flawless panorama images with your camera then a device like the Cullmann SMARTpano 360 will be a great help. It comes with an adjustable smartphone holder and rotates a full 360 degrees, allowing you to get straight panoramas when placed correctly.
Lightning to SD card adapter
When taking a lot of images with your smartphone it's good to be able to back them up when your get home quickly and easily. With an iPhone lightning to SD card adapter, you can quickly and easily transfer your images to an SD card for processing later on the computer.
Power pack
When you shoot a lot of images and are using the camera function a lot, this can be draining on the battery so it's advisable to take a power pack to keep you going all day. You never know when an ideal photo opportunity might occur, and you don't want to be caught out.
Sturdy case that doesn't interfere with camera
When out and about, it's probable that you'll drop your phone at some point. Make sure it's housed in a sturdy case that'll protect it from accidental bumps and bangs when you're shooting your photos. Look for something shockproof and sturdy.
Wireless charging station (quicker charging)
If you're always on the go, then being able to charge your phone quickly in a fuss-free manner is going to be a key point on your photography wish list. Investing in a wireless charger can not only make the process a doddle but can actually speed up charging thanks to 10w charging capability.
Flash/selfie light
If you plan on taking a lot of selfies or portraits with your phone then a portable ring light that attaches to the phone will be an ideal companion. It's simple to use and makes creating flattering lighting for portraits a doddle.
Screen protector
Screen protectors are something everyone should invest in, to avoid the dreaded cracked screen. This is something that can be very annoying, especially to a photographer trying to compose and view images. Avoid this happening by protecting your iPhone 8 and iPhone X screen with a protector.
