| Coolpix L330 in Digital SLRsThe best camera for you isn't always going to be the one that costs the most money or has the biggest lens. Everyone's different and as a result, want different things from their kit. A pro, for example, won't want the same point-and-shoot a mum of three is considering purchasing for her holiday. For this reason, what cameras are currently the most popular really do sit on quite a wide spectrum and some models aren't as new as you may have first thought they'd be either.
To put our list together, we looked at data from various online camera retailers as well as our own review section to see what you guys are most interested in and looking at right now. The cameras scored 4 or above in star ratings across the board, both on our site and those of retailers, and feature most often on wishlists, registers and lists.
So, in no particular order, here's our ten most popular cameras of 2015 so far:
Nikon Coolpix P900
The Nikon Coolpix P900 has plenty of reach as it features an 83x optical zoom lens, equivalent to 24mm wide-angle zooming to 2000mm at the telephoto end. It also has a built-in EVF with eye sensor, a vari-angle tilting screen, as well as built-in Wi-Fi, GPS and NFC. The effective image stabilisation ensures you get the most out of the lens while Moon and bird watching scene modes help you perfect those long lens shots.

Canon EOS 700D
The Canon EOS 700D may have been released in 2013 but it's still proving to be a popular model. It features an 18.2 megapixel APS-C Hybrid CMOS sensor, Hybrid AF system, 5fps continuous shooting, 3 inch 1040k dot touch-screen, Continuous AF is available in video and it has an ISO range from 100-25600 thanks to the DIGIC 5 processor. It's currently available on Amazon for £450.

Canon EOS 1200D
The Canon EOS 1200D features an 18 megapixel APS-C sensor, a 3inch screen, full HD video and a 9 point AF system. Plus, there's a DIGIC 4 processor and an ISO range from 100-12800 (extended). As it's designed for beginners or those new to using a Digital SLR, Canon has released a new app so that they can learn how to use the 1200D. The app covers the basics including how the mode dial works, how to change settings, as well as how to correctly hold the camera to get the best photos. There's also an Intelligent Auto mode.

The Nikon D3200 is an entry-level DSLR with 24.2 megapixels that features Guide Mode for those who want a little help with its functions. Canon Powershot G7 X
The Canon Powershot G7 X is Canon's first compact camera with a 20.2 megapixel 1inch BSI CMOS sensor. It has an ISO range of ISO125 to ISO12800 and a 4.2X optical zoom lens, equivalent to 24 to 100mm in 35mm terms, with a maximum aperture range of f/1.8 to f/2.8. Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60
The Panasonic Lumix TZ60 features a 30x optical zoom lens and an 18.1-megapixel high sensitivity MOS sensor. Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100
The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 features a large 1 inch 20.2 megapixel Exmor CMOS sensor, full manual controls and RAW support.
