Our 'Photo of the Week' (POTW) is a superb example of how a simple street photo, when combined with the black & white medium, can create something that grabs your attention and makes you study it intently.
The beauty of black & white is that it strips all distractions away so you're just left with strong shapes, lines, structures and narrative. The contrast of light and dark is excellent and we love how the long shadow not only guides the eye but adds another level of interest to what's already a captivating shot. It's an excellent capture with brilliant contrast, Ying-Yang feels and lovely composition that was timed just right for everything to come together beautifully.
