A dark, moody, and dramatic photo of Lindisfarne has won this week's photo of the week award, winning a Samsung 64GB Memory Card.
| CompetitionsA panoramic black and white photo "Holy Storm" has won ePHOTOzine's 'Photo of the Week' (POTW) title this week.
This dark atmospheric capture of the famous Holy Island, Lindisfarne, a tidal island off the northeast coast of England, in Northumberland, shows us the castle in the distance with two upturned boats in the foreground. Many of these boats have been converted into sheds. A glimmer of hope can be seen in the lighter areas, where the sunlight is catching the castle, the crashing waves, and the ribbing on the boats in the foreground. The photograph gives us plenty to look at with detail to be found throughout the photograph, whilst the black and white conversion gives us a great tonal range from dark to light. Make sure you click through to the photo to view the larger version of the image.
It's a fantastic landscape - well-done Nick_w.
All of our POTW winners receive an EVO Plus 64GB MicroSDXC card with SD Adapter courtesy of Samsung. To be in with a chance of becoming our next POTW winner, simply upload an image to our gallery where you'll also find all of our past POTW winners.
