An atmospheric image of a seascape with a rock has been awarded the Photo of the Week accolade.
The image, entitled 'The Rock' taken by ePz member Diggeo caught the eye of the team here at ePHOTOzine, and here's why we thought it deserved to win:
This image has a composition and is really simple, yet very effective. The detailing and textures in the rock really give the picture a 3D feel and the silky smooth water combined with the leading lines created by the moving clouds in the sky really bring the image together.
The composition is slightly off centre but this adds to the uneven nature and shape of the rock. The square composition gives the image a really modern feel, too.
