If you went along to this year's Glastonbury Festival you might be able to spot yourself, or at least your tent, in the aerial photomap which was captured on the last day of the festival by Blom Uk.

Kim Wall, Product Manager for Blom UK said: "We decided to capture the festival as it such a significant event in Somerset, the local area of Blom UK. Our offices are located near by and many of us were taken along by our parents in the early years and now attend on a regular basis – in fact everyone who attended this year from our team has been able to locate themselves within the imagery."

The Glastonbury aerial photomap was captured from a height of 3,500 feet. Blom covered the 8 kilometre square site and created the MetroHD imagery to a resolution of 6cm.

"The MetroHD brand is usually reserved for ultra high resolution imagery of urban areas," continued Kim Wall. "Although Glastonbury would not normally fall into the category for the duration of the festival it becomes one of the largest 'urban' areas in Somerset and so for that reason we felt it was important to capture it in detail."
