Canon EOS 6D Mark II in Digital SLRs

Canon EOS 6D MarkII (1)

We've published sample photos from the new Canon EOS 6D Mark II - the latest 26 megapixel Full-Frame Digital SLR from Canon. The EOS 6D Mark II updates the original 6D, with a new sensor, a new 3inch vari-angle touch-screen, and improved continuous shooting speed. You can view the full-size photos, simply by clicking "High-Res" below, and you can compare the results to the 6D, and other full-frame cameras.

This is seemingly my logical next camera after my current 6D mk1, though I've yet to really really want it. I really like the extra focus points, though on the model shots above they mostly seem to find her hair or eyebrow - single point focus might have been better direct on her eye. Or canon might want to offer face and eye detect to help nail more shots first time.

I quite like the extra ISO range and feel it would help a bit occasionally, as would the few extra pixels.

I'm not seeing rich colours as I imagine from the, much more expensive, MF Fuji which I really really desire.

Flip out screen - OK some times neat but mostly not.

I want to really want the 6D, but I don't think I'm there yet - what am I missing in this body release offering?

These sample pix certainly wouldn't inspire me to buy one... Even at ISO100 they look rather noisy with poor edge definition and generally low image quality which seems at odds with the generally clean appearance of the ISO test images.
