Designed for video, these three Canon EOS cameras have taken off in the video market, with interchangeable Canon EF lenses, and are well worth a look for those getting more serious about videos.

The first model is the C300, which has since been joined by the "entry level" C100, and high-end C500. I say "entry level" as the C100, which records full HD video, still costs around $8k US dollars. The C500 records 4K video (4096x2160 pixels) and is around $30k US dollars. Unfortunately Canon doesn't list the C100 or C300 on it's UK website. The C300 is available for around £11k including VAT, so you may be better off hiring the equipment for your next shoot. Another option would be the Canon EOS-1D C, with a more familiar Digital SLR design, it will set you back around £8k excluding VAT.
