Canon has announced the "new" Canon EOS M50 Mark II for the UK and European markets. It was previously announced for the rest of the World in October 2020. It's an update to the Canon EOS M50, with some minor updates to improve support for YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok. The Canon EOS M50 Mark II also offers slightly improved battery life, with 250/305 shots depending on whether you're using the EVF or LCD.

As part of the Canon EOS M / EF-M system, it has a relatively limited range of lenses available compared to other mirrorless cameras, with Canon offering the choice of just 8 EF-M lenses unless you use an adapter.

The Canon EOS M50 Mark II will be available from the end of March 2021, but can be pre-ordered from today. The Canon EOS M50 Mark II body retails at £589.99 / €659.99.
