On the PowerShot G5 X Mark II you'll find a new 5x optical zoom f/1.8-2.8 lens and pop-up EVF while the PowerShot G7 X Mark III has a 4.2x f/1.8 - 2.8 zoom lens and 3.5mm microphone input. Both compacts feature Canon’s DIGIC 8 image processor, a 20.1-megapixel 1.0-type stacked sensor and make use of the CR3 Raw format. 

With a menu system inspired by Canon's EOS cameras and DSLR-style levels of control/personalisation, those looking for a pocket-sized camera with both auto/manual controls will like the look of the Canon PowerShot G5 X Mark II and Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark III. Plus, the tilting touchscreen makes framing easier and you also have the option to shoot with auto and manual focus. 

Other features include a built-in ND filter, 20fps continuous shooting, 30fps RAW Burst mode, in-camera digital image stabilisation, frame rates up to 120fps in Full HD mode, vertical shooting mode, manual/auto video modes, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and HDMI output.
