After listening to customer feedback on the PowerShot G7 X Mark III, Canon have announced plans to improve video autofocus performance via a firmware update which will be available in late October 2019.

Canon plans to issue a firmware update that will improve video autofocus speed, accuracy and subject detection performance.
Canon say that the update will be available via a free download from the Canon website.
