Canon Zoemini Photo Printer Review - Verdict

Value For Money

The Canon Zoemini is available in white, black or rose gold from Amazon UK for £119.99. It comes bundled with a pack of 10 sheets of Zink photo paper. A pack of 20 will cost about £12.99 when you need to replenish. The prints are pretty expensive to replenish, which harms the overall value of the product.

Several printers are available which also use Zink 2x3 inch paper. These include the HP Sprocket, which is available for £116.15, and the Polaroid ZIP, available for £89.99.

If you want a more durable photo, and have a little more money to spend then you could look at one of Fujifilm's INSTAX Share printers, which use Wi-Fi to connect to your phone or smart device and produce Polaroid-style images in either square or 2x3 format depending on the model. The Instax Share SP-3 is available for £154.99 on Amazon UK.

Canon Zoemini Photo Printer Verdict

For those that want to be able to print photos on the go, and also want the ability to use the photos as stickers, then this is a compact little device that will easily fit into your bag, without the bulk of the larger printers available. The photos will be great for adding to a photobook or pinboard.

Photo quality is reasonable and the app is easy enough to use, with plenty of editing and customisation options. The printer would make a great gift for a teenager wanting to print images with their friends, or anyone that wants to preserve their photo photos through the medium of print and share them with their friends.

If you want photos that are a little more durable then you should consider a Fujifilm Instax printer, which will give you a Polaroid-style print.
