A captivating photo of a puffin in flight has won this weeks Photo Of The Week (POTW) award. Tim Munsey has captured this photo titled "Our friends are back" with a long telephoto zoom lens.

The photo is a sharp detailed capture with perfect focus on the bird's eye, giving us an excellent view of this cute puffin. With plenty of detail, and bright coloured accents, the photo is great to view. The puffin looks to be coming in to land, with a hint of the ground in the bottom left. A fast shutter speed has helped to freeze the motion, and we also get a great view of the feathers, with just a hint of motion bringing the photo to life.
