Cat Portrait Awarded POTW Accolade: Garfield

A wonderful studio portrait of a cat has been awarded the Photo of the Week accolade this week.

The image, entitled 'Garfield', was taken by ePz member DeLone, and here's why the team here at ePHOTOzine thought it deserved to win:

This is a really striking image that's been framed well. The orange colours of the cat's fur really stand out against the graduated grey background. The fiery tips of his ears are really bought to life.

It must have been difficult to get the cat to sit still in order to take the image, and taking this into account, the pose of the cat is very neat and poised. It makes you wonder what he's looking up at - what's caught his attention.

You can almost reach out and touch his tufty torso fur - this is a great image of a fine specimen of a cat.
