A classically styled self-portrait has been awarded the Photo of the Week accolade this week with its creator winning a 64GB MicroSD card with SD adapter from Samsung.

We choose a 'Photo of the Week' (POTW) winner every Monday and this week, the POTW accolade has been given to a self-portrait which is brilliantly captured and definitely striking.
The image was taken by ePz member ivanweiss, and is titled 'Self portrait'. Here's why we thought it deserved to win the accolade:
"This is a powerful image which has been set up and lit really well. The light hits at the centre of the face, giving depth to the features and shadow where it's needed.
The pose and the eye contact give it an almost regal feel, and the clothes, table and background all tone in well to create a very classic looking photo. If it were a painting, it wouldn't look out of place in an art gallery."
