Polaroid is making a serious comeback in the digital camera market, with the introduction of some rather cool and quirky looking cameras that will certainly grab the attention of hipsters and other retro fans.

When you think of Polaroid, your first thought will probably be of the instant camera models that hit the shelves during the 70s and 80s which produced instant prints and became iconic for the 'shake action' most people who owned them used to help develop their shots. To this day, you can still purchase instant film for these styles of cameras thanks to the Impossible Project and the fact that all things retro are now 'cool' and 'hip' however, instant film isn't just what Polaroid is about now.
Back in the early naughties, Polaroid introduced the PoGo Instant Mobile Printer followed by the Z340 instant digital camera a little later on. Since then, new digital models have slowly been added to the range and now, at CES 2016, the company who are famous for their instant film have released several new digital products that are proving to be conversation starters on social media and across the internet.

New to the party is the Snap+, an upgrade to the Snap released last year, and the Polaroid iZone mini digital camera that has Wi-Fi built in. Also on the stand is the retro-inspired Polaroid IE827, plus various printers (including a 3D one).
