Drones are still hugely popular and the trend for capturing video and stills with them is something that doesn't seem to be going away anytime soon. As a result, more drone users will be looking for ways to capture footage that makes them stand out from the crowd and one way to do this is with timelapse photography.

Combine a drone with timelapse and you get  'DroneLapse' (of course) and a dronelapse is something Vimeo user Artem Sergeevich has created.

Shot with a DJI Phantom 4 and Phantom 4 Pro+, the short film features footage of the city of Minsk decorated with snow, a blue sky filled with a rainbow that looks as if it's rising from the horizon and fog encircling buildings in an almost dream-like, other-worldly fashion.

It's a lovely piece of photography and you can learn more about it and Artem's other work, over on his Vimeo channel
