Industry News

Corbis logoUsher filed the lawsuit after ending his representation agreement with Corbis back in 2001 when the company, owned by Bill Gates, failed to return over 12 thousand of his images. The lost images included coverage of George Bush, Al Gore and Elian Gonzalez's return to Cuba as well as other significant news stories.

A monetary settlement will be determined at a hearing scheduled for December of this year.
