Color Confidence Announce Biggest Masterclass Of The Year

Color Confidence will be holding a masterclass for photographers with their technical experts/photographers Sanjay Jogia and Gavin Hoey.

The workshop, in conjunction with BenQ, ExpoImaging and X-Rite, is perfect for photographers of all levels and will take place at Birmingham's Fazeley Studios on Friday 21 September 2018.

Those who attend will learn how to best light, shoot and edit their photos with the help of successful portrait photographer and educator Gavin Hoey. On the day, Gavin will take you through numerous different styles and looks as well as show you how various lighting and posing tricks will improve your portraits. You will learn his tried and trusted shooting and editing techniques that make use of the Rogue FlashBender range of portable modifiers, where you can understand how to use multiple speedlights to light a model and how to work with them to get the best shots. After the shoot, Gavin will then guide you through the tools and techniques he uses to help make your post-processing quick and consistent, including the use of his BenQ monitor(s).

As well as receiving guidance from Gavin Hoey, Sanjay Jogia FSWPP, named as one of the top 6 wedding photographers in the world, will be delving into the subjects of ‘The shape of light’ and how ‘Cameras are colour blind’, where he’ll be discussing how to best modify the light, utilising the position and setup of lights and flashes. Sanjay will also give a presentation on why the colour management of your shoot is crucial, and how to understand what true colour is, using X-Rite's colour management solutions.

Color Confidence's technical support will be on hand throughout the day to answer any questions you may have and Epson will also be supporting the event, discussing colour management and its importance within your workflow, alongside X-Rite.
