See How Other Devices Display Colour With Media Emulation
When using ColorEdge CG monitors, ColorNavigator 6 can emulate the colour characteristics of other media devices such as tablets, Smart Phones, notebook PCs and other LCD / CRT monitors.
With the aid of a spectrophotometer, Color Navigator 6 reads the emulated device's colour patches at they appear in a web browser and creates an ICC profile. By using this feature, those who create content for others to use / view can see how others will view colours on the specific device they use.
Import / Export Adjustment Targets
Users can import and export post-adjustment target profiles and share the same target values in multiple usage environments.
Calibrate Your Monitor To Another Profile
With ColorNavigator 6, users can load the colour profile of another ColorEdge monitor and use it to calibrate their own monitor.
Calibrate To The White Of Your Paper Or Brightness Of Your Light Box
An external sensor can be used to measure the white of the paper going to be used for printing so the target values for brightness and the white point are automatically set accordingly.
The brightness of a light box can also be measured and set as the target value for calibration to ensure the brightness level of the monitor and light box are uniform when colour proofing.
Profile Validation
To see how much a monitor's colours have changed since it was last calibrated, or to verify calibration results, ColorNavigator 6 measures the monitor's colour patches to determine the difference between the Delta-E value of the monitor's profile and the actual displayed value of the monitor. (The CG series validates RGB and CMYK values while the CX and CS series validate RGB values only).
