A wonderfully summery and uplifting creative portrait has been awarded the Photo of the Week accolade this week - read on to find out why we chose it.
| ePHOTOzineA summer-themed, uplifting and creative portrait has been awarded the Photo of the Week accolade this week.
The image was taken by ePHOTOzine member sitan1 and is titled 'Life tastes of Orange'. Here's why we thought it stood out from the bunch this week:
This is an image that really made us smile and is a prime example of creativity in lockdown and what can be achieved with things that you have lying around at home. sitan1 has explained how he created the image, using cardboard, oranges and flashguns.
The overall result is outstanding - creating a fresh, vibrant and bold image that makes you smile and lifts the spirits. We love the cheeky expression on the model's face as she tries desperately to lick the orange. Her make-up really contrasts with her eyes and the use of orange around her eyes and lips really ties everything together well. During difficult times this image brought us real joy!
Photo of the week winners receive a 64GB MicroSD card courtesy of Samsung. Please note that there may be a delay in receiving this due to the current situation. See all the winners of the Photo of the Week accolade in the POTW gallery.
