Datacolor PhotograpHER Campaign

Datacolor have launched PhotograpHER, a campaign which celebrates women in photography. Throughout May, Datacolor are inviting women in photography to share their stories to be in with a chance of winning a selection of top photography prizes, including:

The competition runs from May 1st to May 31st and can be entered on the Datacolor website. Entrants simply have to tell the story of who and/or what inspires their photography to be in with a chance.

Why PhotograpHER?
The audiences of photography magazines around the world are largely made up of 75-80% men, painting a bleak picture of gender diversity in the industry. Yet the ‘Women in Photography’ panel at The Photography Show 2015 revealed around 80% of photography students in the UK are women. So where are these women disappearing to when they graduate?

Datacolor’s Friends with Vision programme aims to boost the profile of highly talented photographers around the world. Throughout May, women photographers who are part of Datacolor’s Friends with Vision programme will be sharing their inspiring stories about their career in photography.
