Colour was the theme of last month's competition
and you didn't let us down! With hundreds of shots bursting with different hues, shades and colours, it wasn't an easy task picking the images for the top three spots. However, after some serious consideration it was decided that Adrian Mills
' shot of a red Ladybird on a red pencil, photographed against a red background was a brilliant interpretation of the theme and well worthy of winning first place. The judge thought the photo was 'highly original and well thought out'. Adrian wins a Spyder3Elite & Datacolor SpyderCube. Second place goes to Sue Turner
for her shot of a cat with its yellows eyes poking its head through a yellow scarf. The judge described it as a 'striking example of pet photography with a slant' and Sue wins a SpyderCheckr & Datacolor SpyderCube for her shot. Finally, third place goes to Richard Sheppard
with his multicoloured photo of a typical British beach scene. The judge thought the shot was very humorous and of course colourful. Richard wins a SpyderLensCal & Datacolor SpyderCube.
Well done to all the winners and to those who were short-listed.
