“It is no wonder that the Doli DL-1210 is still our
number one best seller
” says Photomart managing
director Lewis Martindale. “Considering Doli
machines always meet the demands of our professional photographic and
photo retail customers, it was to be expected that the 1210 would be
something really special.
Combining all the services and facilities which a quality-conscious
user could require, and more, into a tiny system costing only a
fraction of the prices established by other suppliers, the Doli DL1210
is destined to take the mini lab market into a new era.
Able to produce prints up to 8x12ins in size, the DL1210 has a
throughput capacity of 600 4x6 inch prints per hour from 600 different
images! This high productivity level combined with the short processing
time (a blistering fast 2 minutes and 45 seconds!) puts the system
firmly in the top category of mini labs.
The processing speed is achieved in such a small space due to the
machine’s highly sophisticated tank construction which also
has the benefit in that it only needs eight litres of chemistry to fill
to operating level, thus saving on replenishment and heating costs
while making the equipment easier to maintain at its optimum
performance. Its unique configuration also means that the machine
requires just 0.72m2 of floor space – making it ideal for
installation in a location where space is limited.
The DL1210’s operational versatility starts at the front end
with precise densitometric analysis. An advanced LINUX based platform
provides stable operation, while the Windows XP operating system
running in tandem makes the process simple and easy to follow.
Input can be via all of the usual media – CD, floppy disk,
memory sticks and SM, SD and CompactFlash cards – as well as
by Internet and LAN connection, and through the optional 35mm negative,
APS, and print scan platform. The system’s user-friendly
interface enables even inexperienced operators to quickly come to terms
with its processes, which include index prints in a number of format
Using an LED light source (RGB) via an LCD panel incorporating precise
pixel management for exposure onto a vacuum platform configured for
maximum accuracy and rendition ensures top quality results with print
resolutions of up to 520dpi.
All appropriate correction and output options are incorporated,
including red-eye removal, sharpness adjustment, under/over exposure
compensation, and angle correction cropping. The world-class correction
software enables easy adjustment of colour, brightness, contrast,
gamma, sharpness, etc.
There is a range of add-on output alternatives including a variety of
templates for creating greeting cards, special colour borders,
ID/passport prints, montages and printing black-and-white or sepia
prints from colour images.
Enabling users to extend their range of services further, in addition
to printing up to 8x12ins, the DL1210 can produce panel prints, which
overlap to enable posters of up to 40x60ins to be created. Another
output option is CD burning which is achieved through the integral
