Dramatic Peak District Landscape Wins 'Photo Of The Week': First Light

The Peak District is a popular location for landscape photographers and with Legend147's 'First Light' image, it's easy to see why.

Winnats Pass is dramatic and when combined with the fog, beautiful colours of the sky and the light trail detail featured in this cracking image, you have a recipe for success. We love everything about this image, particularly how it feels like you could float into the shot and part the fog to see what's hidden below. The detail in the hillside is strong which juxtaposes against the soft fog and gentle cloud detail above. Plus, the shape of the hillsides along with the interesting light trail detail pulls you through the shot. It's definitely a winner in our eyes!
