You showed us a wide range of architectural feats, old and new. From castles to modern skyscrapers, some amazing examples were showcased in the competition forum

After looking through all of the entries, these 3 images were chosen to win:

Building with green swirls - Pricey

DxO May 'Architecture' Competition Winners Announced: Pricey

We love the quirky angle of this capture, accompanied by how the sunlight hits the building to create a yellow glow. The triangular balconies to the bottom left add further interest.

Guggenheim Bilbao - NeilPartridge

DxO May 'Architecture' Competition Winners Announced: NeilPartridge

This is a very unique building with lots of intriguing shapes - the contours of the building are highlighted by the spotlights reflecting off the shiny outer surface. The spotlights in the sky and the iconic spider in the foreground add to this marvellous shot.

Curved lines - ardbeg77

DxO May 'Architecture' Competition Winners Announced: ardbeg77

This is a simple yet very effective capture, using 3 different architectural elements to create a well-composed urban scene. The vertical line of the pole, horizontal stripes of the building on the right and the curved structure in the background all work together to create a very modern abstract image.

Congratulations to all 3 winners - we'll email you with instructions on how to claim your prize.

Don't forget that you can still enter our X-Rite 'Portrait' competition to be in with a chance of winning an X-Rite i1 Display Pro calibration device!
