The Edelkrone FlexTilt Head 2 is one of those items of photo equipment that just makes life easier, as David Thorpe explains in his latest review.
| Tripods, Monopods and Other Supports
The Edelkrone FlexTilt Head 2 is a tripod head that's designed to make it easier to position your camera quickly and David Thorpe is putting the tripod head to the test to find out how it can improve your photography experience.
"The Edelkrone FlexTilt Head 2 is a 'down and dirty' solution to getting a tripod-mounted camera into position quickly without buttons, knob twirling, twisting or locks," says David Thorpe.
The Edelkrone FlexTilt Head 2 doesn't do anything you can't do with a conventional tripod head - it just makes it easier. Once the friction is set, you don't need to use locks and knobs to adjust the head/secure it in place. Instead, you can just bend the head to where you want it and take your photos.
I've always liked to use tripods," says David. " But, the Edelkrone FlexTilt Head 2 makes their use much more fluid and my working life easier."
The head is built well, feels solid and had no problem supporting a Panasonic G9 with lens attached but it does cost around £136.
