A different take on the London underground has been awarded the Photo of the Week accolade by the team this week.
The image, entitled 'London Underground' by ePz member nickmoulds was crowned with the award, and here's why we thought it deserved to win the accolade:
This is an unusual image in that it's the platform and tunnel of the underground station that are blurred, and not the train and people. This creates the impression that the photographer is walking along as the train starts to move off and the people head for the exit.
The concept works well and the reds of the train doors and signs really catch the eye. The quirky angle also adds an element of chaos to the scene, giving a feel of what the station can be like at rush hour. It's a unique image that really captures the feel of the underground.
Photo of the Week winners currently receive a 32GB EVO MicroSDHC card with SD adapter courtesy of Samsung. See all the winning images in the POTW gallery.
