Cheetah
'Cheetah' by Brian_Scott

ePHOTOzine member Brian_Scott has been crowned this week's Photo of the Week (POTW) winner.

The POTW is picked by ePHOTOzine's founder and Editorial Director, Peter Bargh, once a week and here's why he thought Brian_Scott's photo, 'Cheetah', was a worthy winner:

"Brian is one ePHOTOzine's best wildlife photographers who, like a few others like him, produce photo after photo demonstrating technical excellence, no matter what the subject is.

Here a cheetah scans for prey on the parched plain of the Masai Mara. Everything about the photo is technically perfect - sharp focus, minimal depth of field to provide a shallow plane of focus, perfect exposure, pleasing composition. Overall a great portrait of the world's fastest animal."

POTW winners now receive a £100 (Plus £15 p&p) voucher from Albelli - the Photo Book experts. Take a look at the Photo of the Week Gallery where all shots that have received the award are displayed.
