'Lorenzo' by rickie

ePHOTOzine member rickie has been crowned this week's Photo of the Week (POTW) winner.

The POTW is picked by ePHOTOzine's founder and Editorial Director, Peter Bargh, once a week and here's why he thought rickie's photo, 'Lorenzo', was a worthy winner:

"It's hard enough getting motorbikes sharp as they hurtle around the race track, so getting a really pleasing composition to boot is a real skill. The angles of the track bring an almost abstract background to the photo along with a natural framing device to center focus on the biker. I also like the fact you can see his eyes through the visor to give the shot a little more personality. Colourful and full of impact."

POTW winners now receive a £100 (Plus £15 p&p) voucher from Albelli - the Photo Book experts. Take a look at the Photo of the Week Gallery where all shots that have received the award are displayed.

A real nice image, just a shame there is no feeling of speed.

I dont think its sharp and the bike is slightly out of focus. I have seen better shots from Rickie and other photographers on this site.
