Epson has today added a new photo production printer to its line-up.
The SureLab D700 printer uses Epson's inkjet technology to print multiple sizes (from 4inches up to A4 wide and from 3.5- 39 inches long) on a wide range of media including glossy, lustre and paper-based matte media. The SureLab D700 can also deliver up to 360 6x4inch prints and 180 8x6inch prints an hour. It has a resolution of 1440dpi x 720dpi (max), variable sized ink droplets and precise droplet placement.
The SureLab D700 features a durable, long-lasting cutter blade, has low maintenance requirements and long service intervals. Micro Piezo printhead technology is built-in and when used in conjunction with Epson's UltraChrome D6-S ink, the SureLab D700 boasts a wide colour gamut.
The SureLab D700 is available from June 2014.
Alongside the new printer Epson is introducing the SureLab D7 Studio which will be available from June 2014.
The SureLab D7 Studio can be tailored to suit users’ needs, and used either on the shop floor as a self-service order terminal or as a production microlab behind-the-counter.
