A beautiful image depicting a fallen angel has been awarded the photo of the week accolade.
The image, by ePz member patri21, entitled 'Fallen Angel' stood out to the team and here's why we chose it:
This is a really beautifully edited image that engages the viewer immediately. The eyes of the model are imploring, and the pose suggests helplessness. Smoke has been used effectively in the background to create tension and the lighting highlights and accentuates her facial features and collarbone.
The wings have been added with considerable skill and look like they are glowing, adding to the feeling that the angel is an otherworldly being. Overall, this is a really nicely put together image.
