This week's featured Tamron user image is a candid portrait of two scooter riders gearing up to get back on the bike, taken with a Tamron 18-270mm lens.
The image, by ePz member shaz4 is called 'Scooter days' and here's why we chose it as this week's featured image:
We loved the intimacy that the viewer feels with these two scooter riders. There is eye contact with the camera from both of the subjects, and it's almost like you've been allowed a little window into their lives.
The main focus of the image falls on the scooter itself, with its many mirrors and lights. Scooters like this are real style icons, and combined with the clothes of the riders, it's almost like you've taken a step back in time to the heyday of the mod era in the 60s.
