A portrait of a young woman sat reading by a fireplace has been awarded this week's 'Photo of the Week' title.

This week's 'Photo of the Week' (POTW) title has been awarded to Silverlake with a lovely portrait of a young woman titled 'Fireside Tales' which stood out in the gallery with its colours and scene that resemble a fine art Renaissance painting.
We also like that the portrait stands out from traditional style portraits with the addition of props as this allows the imagination to create stories; what book is she reading? Does she live in a grand home? The narrative gives us all much more to think about when viewing the photo.
It's a lovely portrait with excellent tone and light that's well worthy of this week's accolade.
