The OM-D E-M1 Mark II, E-M1 Mark III, E-M5 Mark III, E-M1X, and OM-5 all have firmware updates available to support the introduction of a new lens.
| Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II in Industry NewsOM Digital Solutions has released firmware updates for several OM System MFT mirrorless cameras which will mean they can support the OM SYSTEM M.Zuiko Digital ED 90mm F/3.5 Macro IS PRO lens which is due to be released this year.
The 90mm f/3.5 Macro IS PRO offers a 35mm equivalent focal length of 180mm as well as 4x maximum image magnification. In-lens image stabilisation is built in and the lens is also dust- and splashproof (IP53).
The 5 cameras receiving firmware updates are the OM-D E-M1 Mark II, E-M1 Mark III, E-M5 Mark III, E-M1X, and OM-5.
