If your EIZO monitor isn't showing a picture after first setting it up, have a read through these fixes to see if it solves your problem.
| General PhotographySetting an EIZO monitor up is a rather straight-forward process, however if you do encounter a problem with the picture not displaying don't worry; EIZO* has a few remedies that may fix your problem.
If no picture is displayed on the monitor even after the following remedial action is taken, contact your local EIZO representative.
Problem 1 - Power indicator does not light
Possible cause and remedy:
1. Check whether the power cord is connected properly.
2. Turn the main power switch on.
3. Press .
4. Turn off the main power, and then turn it on again a few minutes later.
Problem 2 - Power indicator is lighting blue
Possible cause and remedy:
1. Increase 'Brightness' and/or 'Gain' in the Adjustment menu.
Problem 3 - Power indicator is lighting orange
Possible cause and remedy:
1. Switch the input signal with SIGNAL.
2. Operate the mouse or keyboard.
3. Check whether the PC is turned on.
Problem 4 - Power indicator is flashing orange and blue
Possible cause and remedy:
1. The device that is connected using DisplayPort / HDMI has a problem. Solve the problem, turn off the monitor, and then turn it on again. Refer to the User’s Manual of the output device for further details.
Problem 5 - The following message appears when no signal is input:
Possible cause and remedy:
The message shown may appear because some PCs do not output the signal soon after power-on.
1. Check whether the PC is turned on.
2. Check whether the signal cable is connected properly.
3. Switch the input signal with SIGNAL.
Problem 6 - The following message appears when the input signal is out of the specied frequency range. (Such signal frequency is displayed in magenta.)
Possible cause and remedy:
1. Check whether the PC is configured to meet the resolution and vertical scan frequency requirements of the monitor.
2. Reboot the PC.
3. Select an appropriate setting using the graphics boards utility. Please refer to the User's Manual of the graphics board for details.
fD: Dot Clock
fH: Horizontal scan frequency
