The Tamron 14-150mm is the latest Micro Four Thirds lens, and has a compact, lightweight design. With an angle of view equivalent to 28-300mm in 35mm terms, this a versatile lens with a great price point, £390.
The lens weighs only 285g, making it ideal for travel, or every day all purpose shooting. With smooth manual focusing action, it's easy to pinpoint attention on your subject. The closest focussing distance is 50cm, fairly typical of a lens covering this range, and the filter thread doesn't rotate, meaning you can use graduated filters with ease.

This lens has excellent sharpness throughout the range, with outstanding clarity at 14mm and f/5.6. Falloff illumination is controlled very well, and a petal shaped hood is supplied with the lens, which works well to prevent flare from the side hitting the lens.
